Serena Williams gives birth to baby girl

Tennis great Serena Williams has given birth to a baby girl, making her and fiancé, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, first- time parents.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion announced her pregnancy via Snapchat in April, when she was 20 weeks pregnant, showing a close-up of her baby bump.

The baby girl weighs six pounds, 13 ounces.

There is no word yet on a name.
