They were smitten with the house, the very moment their eyes beheld it! They just had to possess, and nothing was going to hinder those wishful thoughts..

Today, the hands of fate has worked in their favour and the house is now owned by Kevin Richards, a Jamaican living in the United States and working for Deloitte, the global accounting organisation, and his wife Ingrid, assistant village manager of the Village of Scarsdale, New York.

This is their true dream home, made possible by dint of hard work, sacrifice and business savvy, which has permitted the seemingly impossible to become possible.

The refined house is sequestered on a little hill in the upscale neighbourhood of Caribbean Heights, Montego Bay. It oversees, from its commanding perch, the White Witch Golf Course and the mesmerising Caribbean waters.

LUXURIOUSLY FINISHED

The half-acre site developed in 2001 and purchased recently in 2021, encompasses two luxuriously finished buildings: the three-bedroom, single-storey main residence, and a detached two-storey, one-bedroom balconied guest cottage. The oversized bedrooms all have adjoining bathrooms. There is the entrance hall in the main house; formal living and dining rooms; a kitchen (with full pantry); sunroom for lounging, and outdoor terraces in a meticulously maintained garden.

Features that arouse emotions at first glance include: polished Brazilian, jatoba hardwood flooring; Italian porcelain inlaid tiles; marble counters; maple wood cabinetry; interior circular columns and archways; prized, antique Jamaican mahogany furniture; tray ceilings and multi-hip shingle roofs.

The external spaces are glorified with the addition of a bubbling hot spa tub, driving you to insane bliss, and a circular swimming pool with water spilling over its infinity edge. You just can help falling in love with this house!
