‘Nuh Weh Nice Like Yard’ as celebrations for Jamaica’s diamond jubilee kick into high gear. Last Thursday, a sweet new entry was made to the local pantheon of Festival songs. Sacaj, the Festival Song Competition’s only female finalist, took top honours inside the National Indoor Sports Centre to the delight of the black, green and gold-clad audience who heralded the contest’s fifth female winner.
