The Institute of Jamaica held the annual Musgrave Medal Awards Ceremony in recognition of achievements in art, science, and literature on Tuesday at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts at the University of the West Indies. Originally conceived in 1889 and named in memory of Sir Anthony Musgrave, the founder of the institute and the former governor of Jamaica, this year’s staging was one for the books.
