The American Foundation for the University of the West Indies (AFUWI) recently hosted its 26th annual awards gala in New York. The event, which raises funds to provide scholarships for UWI students, this year honoured Sandra L. Richards, Premier of Nevis Mark A.G. Brantley, Dr Farley R. Cleghorn, Busta Rhymes, Robert ‘Don Pooh’ Cummins, Dr Hazel Carter, and Beverley Hunter. Something Extra brings you the highlights.
