Backgammon players, enthusiasts and supporters turned out in their casual splendour last weekend for the three-day Jamaica Inn Backgammon Open, which attracted 32 players, families and friends to the historic boutique resort in Ocho Rios. A plethora of sponsors ensured great prizes, delectable food and fine drink, starting with Friday’s warm-up tournament through Saturday’s main event and awards ceremony and Sunday’s wind-down departure. The White River Fish Sanctuary is a beneficiary of the Jamaica Inn Backgammon Open through its Jamaica Inn Foundation. Something Extra brings you the highlights.
