Jamaican-Panamanian stylist and award-winning costume designer Zerina Akers went all out for Megan Thee Stallion’s Hiss. Megan oozed power, opulence and sex appeal in the video’s eye-catching looks for the cathartic single.
Naomi Campbell was also serving style as she unveiled another collaboration. The British supermodel, who has Jamaican roots, collaborated with German brand Hugo Boss for a collection dubbed the BOSS x Naomi Campbell by Hugo Boss for Women, looks from which appeared on the cover and pages of Elle UK. Days after the Elle reveal, she walked the runway for Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain men’s fall/winter 2024 show for Paris Men’s Fashion Week where SAINT International models also hit the runway for Amiri, Rhude and Drôle de Monsieur. Winston Lawrence and Romaine Dixon represented favourably for the black, green and gold, while SAINT’s Nigerian supermodel-on-the-rise Tomiwa is in-between the pages of the new issue of Vanity Fair Italia and gracing billboards for Old Navy.
Still in the City of lights, Jamaican-Chinese designer Brandon Blackwood was the bag of choice during Paris Couture Week for Jennifer Lopez as she attended the Elie Saab show and Jeannie Mai in Stephane Rolland.
