Further cementing her in-demand status in the global fashion space, SAINT International’s Nigerian supermodel-in-the-making Tomiwa is fronting the current edition of L’Officiel Italia. The ebony-kissed stunner makes quite the impression in between the pages of the European glossy for the cover editorial titled, ‘Couture (r) evolution’ featuring breathtakingly gorgeous selections from the spring-summer 2024 haute couture collections.

Her latest cover-girl achievement marks a second appearance for L’Officiel as she graced the Brazilian edition’s cover last October shot by the photographic duo Yuri + Ana at the luxury resort Hôtel Molitor in the French capital and styled in Lucio Fonseca.

Now photographed by Vincent Flouret and styled by fashion editor and director Giulio Martinelli, with hairstylist Harley Piejos and make-up artist Elise Ducrot lending their requisite skillset, Tomiwa’s new L’Officiel Italia stark black-and-white editorial – shot in January in The City of Lights at Studio Hauteville – showcases couture’s latest trends, namely mullet hemlines, corsets, capes, embellishments, volume, fringe, and sheer. The five-feet-ten-inch-tall African beauty ignites this solo-girl monochromatic spread, dolled up in Paris and Milan’s finest: Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Giambattista Valli, Chanel, Giorgio Armani Prive, Valentino, Balenciaga, Dolce and Gabbana, Viktor & Rolf, Fendi, and Schiaparelli.

“It’s always a sweet accomplishment for a model to secure a magazine cover. It feels just as great this time around, I’m proud, humbled, and excited all at once,” the Paris-based Tomiwa shared with The Gleaner, moments after wrapping up a day-long e-commerce shoot for the iconic French brand Lacoste, one of her regular clients.

The SAINT beauty’s laundry list of model successes include global advertising campaigns for Miu Miu, Longchamp and Boss, editorials for Vogue, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and Wallpaper, and e-commerce collections for Louis Vuitton, Chloe, and Gucci.
