Youth and Culture Minister, Lisa Hanna, says yesterday’s incident which left three young boys and an adult dead in Clarendon highlights that laws and regulations alone cannot help to address violence against children.
She says parents and communities need to be more vigilant in protecting children.

She says the killers demonstrated that they have no feelings, compassion or love for another human being especially a child.
The Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA) says it is at a loss for words regarding the incident.
JTA president, Doran Dixon, says the incident demonstrates what he says is the disregard for human life.
