The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) says the result of air quality monitoring and other tests conducted during the recent fire at the Riverton City disposal site will now be made public on Tuesday.
NEPA had given an undertaking that the results would have been released yesterday.
However, in a statement yesterday, NEPA’s chief executive officer Peter Knight said the agency is still reviewing comments about the findings from a leading member in academia.
Knight says the review will be completed by Tuesday at which time it will be released to the public.
