Bail was today refused in the case involving a policeman and two other persons implicated in an alleged drugs for guns trade.
Those charged are policeman Kenneth Reid, Sheldon Walters and Kerry-Ann Smith, who was deported from the United Kingdom.
The Crown alleges that sometime in May, the police acted on information and went to premises in Red Hills where ganja was discovered.
Cell phones recovered in the matter are currently being analysed.
However, WhatsApp messages allegedly found on the policeman's cell phone are alleged to have contained messages about drugs and guns.
The matter has been set for mention on June 17 as a report from the communication, forensics and cyber crimes unit is outstanding.
