UPDATE: Cop hospitalized in serious condition following Highway 2000 crash

‎A policeman attached the the Police Traffic Division's highway patrol remains hospitalized in serious condition this evening following a terrible crash along Highway 2000.

The details of the crash were not available.

However, it happened near the Mandela Highway exit and involved the police Highway Patrol vehicle and a Toyota Corolla station wagon motor car.

During the crash, the cop was hit.

He landed in nearby bushes and rolled several metres down a hill.

The crash attracted a small crowd.
