Uniform deals at Jamaica College this Saturday
Parents of students attending Corporate Area schools will get back-to-school uniform deals on the grounds of Jamaica College (JC) this Saturday.
Various uniform suppliers will be there to sell and take orders at a special fair being hosted by the JC Parent-Teachers Association.
Betty Stephenson Ashley, the association's vice-president, said that various other educational suppliers, financial services and health-care providers, among others, have confirmed their participation for the July 25 event.
She said also that there would be a used-books sale for various levels of the secondary system.
"We have worked hard to bring all the various suppliers in one central location to make the back-to-school experience hassle-free for parents," said Ashley, who noted that the state-owned bus company, the Jamaica Urban Transit Company, would be on hand to sell and top-up smart cards.
