Duncan withdraws allegation Nationwide reporter hacked her account, says sorry

Dr Khia Josina Duncan, the daughter of People's National Party MP DK Duncan, has apologised to Nationwide News Network reporter Abka Fitz-Henley for alleging that he hacked her Facebook account this month.
Duncan posted a letter of apology on her Twitter account this afternoon, saying she is sorry for "any embarrassment".
On August 12, Duncan alleged on Twitter that Fitz-Henley hacked her account to obtain a letter she wrote criticising PNP MP Ian Hayles for wanting to challenge her father for a party position.
Fitz-Henley rejected the allegations and demanded an apology and retraction.
Initially, Duncan refused.
However, in her post today, Duncan wrote: "I want to make it clear that I have no evidence that you [Fitz-Henley] were involved in any hacking into my account."
She added: "as a result, I unreservedly withdraw my statements."
Fitz-Henley had retained lawyer, Caroline Hay in the matter.
Hay, says her client is satisfied with the apology and the matter has now been settled.
"He welcomes that Dr. Duncan has acknowledged the grave error of her ways. He has forgiven her and he holds no malice towards her or anyone connected to her. He wishes her God's speed and all the best," Hay said.
