Footprints: Clive Brown - Amazing son, devoted father
Quiet, calm, reserved and caring are some of the adjectives that fit the persona of Clive Anthony Brown.
Clive was born on March 14, 1973 in St Catherine and he was remembered by his family and friends as a loving soul.
Clive's parents, Ruby and Vixie, are at a loss at the passing of their son who meant the world to them. Ruby recounted that "him was me hand and me foot".
"My everything," she continued.
"I'm at a lost for words because I don't know how this happened," Ruby said.
Clive, at age 38, enjoyed driving mainly tractors and trucks. He was a big man in size and courage. He had a good heart.
"My son was loving. Although he is very quiet, he had a good heart," his mother said with teary eyes.
Clive had a six-year-old daughter, Ariana, who meant the world to him. He loved and adored her endlessly. She is now saddened by his death.
Growing up in Spanish Town, St Catherine, Clive was always a bit of an introvert who only spoke when spoken to. But he never forgot his 'good mornings', 'good afternoons' or 'how do you do' - and that was one of the things everyone remembered and loved about him.
Clive had a brother, Derrick, and a sister. He leaves a host of family and friends at a loss for words at his unexpected and untimely death.
Clive cared for his mother and everyone around him.
He was happy and healthy. No one knew he wouldn't be here today.
"It's always me and him. I can't even talk because I don't know what to say," Ruby said as she memorialised her time with her son.
"I love my son and I would do anything for him."
