A repeat offender was sentenced to three years in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court last Friday for his role in the theft of a motor car.
Sadique Henry pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.
The court was told that on September 26 about 3:10 a.m. the complainant parked a Nissan Tida motor car along Spanish Town Road and attended an event.
Upon his return, the car was missing.
He then contacted the owner who alerted the police.
Within a few hours, the car was tracked to a location in St Catherine where Henry was spotted driving the vehicle.
