The National Works Agency (NWA) has reported that a section of Mannings Hill Road, in St Andrew has been reduced to single-lane traffic due to a breakaway.

It says the breakaway is approximately one kilometre above the Havendale community.

The NWA says the area has been cordoned off and motorists are being advised to exercise extreme caution while using this corridor.

The NWA says the roadway was one of three in St Andrew impacted by rains over the last two days.

Yesterday the main road from Stony Hill to Tom’s River in St Andrew was reduced to single-lane access as a result of a large boulder that rolled off the hillside.

The NWA also had to respond to a situation along the Harbour View to Bull Bay main road in St Andrew which was being impacted by heavy deposit of silt.
