Health ministry releases audit reports

The Health Ministry has released the audit report into the state of Jamaica's health facilities.

The audit covers the four regional health authorities.

*South East Regional Health Authority
*North East Regional Health Authority
*Southern Regional Health Authority
*Western Regional Health Authority

The audit into the South East Regional Health Authority did not cover the University Hospital of the West Indies where 12 babies died from the klebsiella and serratia bacterial outbreaks.

However, it found a series of woes at the other hospitals in the region:
- Bustamante Hospital for Children
- Kingston Public Hospital
- Victoria Jubilee Hospital
- Spanish Town Hospital
- Princess Margaret Hospital
- National Chest Hospital
