The police say a man wanted in connection with the July murder of a police constable, has been recaptured and will be charged with murder.
A statement yesterday said Nicholas Drummond, otherwise called ‘Ticki Dollar’ was recaptured during an operation in Esher district, St Mary on Saturday.
Drummond escaped Police custody while receiving treatment at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) in early September.
The police say he is in the custody of the Kingston Western Police and will be charged following an interview in the presence of his attorneys.
Drummond is expected to be charged with the killing of Constable Lynden Barrett in West Kingston.
Two other men have been charged with murder in the case.
