Automotive service providers go to school
The Top 1 Oil Products Company introduced its Lube Training School to Jamaican automotive service providers at the Courtleigh Hotel recently.
The forum facilitated an interactive space for its students and Top 1 Oil executives to have useful dialogue about the benefits of choosing high-quality engine oils such as the products it offers. The presenters noted that this was critical given the continued misuse of engine lubricants, which leads to many damaged engines.
Top 1 Oil Products Company has been the largest exporter of synthetic lubricants from the United States since the 1970s and has an extensive line of products which have been on the Jamaican market for quite some time.
The products are manufactured in Jamaica, and as part of its expansion plans, the company will be exporting to Latin America and the rest of the Caribbean very soon. With its successful expansion into Jamaica, Top 1 believes now is the opportune time to educate distributors, sales personnel, engineers and buyers about the correct use of engine lubricants.
Technical director of Top 1 Oil Products company, Mark Negast, noted that "state-of-the-art facilities are used in the blending, manufacturing and packaging of the products to ensure that Top 1 remains the highest calibre of lubricants on the market. We are not only providing the best quality of oil lubricants to our customers, but also educating them about the right oil for their engine, whether it be a car, motorcycle, truck or just for industrial use."
This, Negast said, was extremely important as the organisation's reputation has been built on the quality products it provides. With heavy emphasis on educating the participants about the importance of quality engine lubricants, the Top 1 Lube School speakers shared useful tips. The Lube Training School will be facilitated in the other markets where they operate. The next training session will be held in Costa Rica.
