ISSA rules against Wolmer's Boys in complaint against JC

Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) has ruled that Jamaica College (JC) fully complied with the rules when they fielded players Ajani Talbot and Jahvan Russell against Wolmer's Boys on November 11.

Wolmer's lodged an official complaint that alleged that JC had used an ineligible player in the ISSA/Flow Manning Cup competition.

But ISSA says its competitions committee has ruled that JC was fully compliant with the rules in allowing player Ajeanie Talbott, who served a one-match suspension in the Flow Super Cup on November 7. 

However, ISSA says many of the issues raised by Wolmer's Boys are worthy of consideration and further review. 

On the other hand, Wolmer's say they accept the decision made by ISSA to advance Jamaica College to the semi-finals of the Manning Cup although both parties acknowledge the ambiguity of the rules.
