Workmen look on as Local Government Minister, Noel Arscott (left) and Transport and Works Minister, Dr Omar Davies tour the new leg of the North-South Highway that runs from the Angels community to Linstead in St Catherine.

By next month, residents of Angels in St Catherine will be able to access the spanking new leg of the North-South Highway that runs from their community to Linstead.

Highway officials made the disclosure during a tour of the new highway this morning.

The touring party include officials from the Ministry of Transport and Works, China Harbour Engineering company and members of the media.

Immediately after the New Year’s gift, in February, the Caymanas to Mammee Bay leg will be opened.

This will pave for the way for the dismantling of the existing toll plaza and the erection of new ones in March.
