Early pension payments through post offices

Starting tomorrow, pensioners will be able to cash their pension vouchers at post offices across the island.

This means that pensioners with vouchers payable between December 30 and New Year’s Day will be able to encash them a week earlier.

However, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security says this arrangement does not apply to the National Commercial Bank (NCB), which will only cash vouchers on or after the date they are payable.
