Red Stripe One-Day sale a hit

The Red Stripe One-Day Sale gave customers at Lama Wholesale a chance to stock up on their favourite beers.

With discounts of up to 50 per cent, consumers got more than their money's worth during the Red Stripe one-day sale held islandwide right in time for Christmas.

Last year, Red Stripe held a massive sale at its 214 Exchange on Spanish Town Road to give consumers a chance to purchase gift items for the holidays. This year, the beer giant followed up with another one-day sale, this time, extending it right across the island. The initiative is led by the company's brand teams and is intended to meet the heavy demand placed on retailers in the Christmas season. Representatives were positioned across the island to aid customers as they shopped for their special celebrations.

The entire catalogue of products, including Red Stripe, Heineken, Guinness, Baileys and Johnnie Walker, were on sale at participating locations for unbeatable retail prices. Imru James, brand manager for Heineken, was present at Lama Wholesale in Kingston.

"Red Stripe has put together excellent deals so we can cater to all our customers needs as they prepare for Christmas," said James. Wholesalers also reaped benefits from the sale, moving large quantities of product and clearing out their inventory in the process.

"Christmas is a crucial time for our retailers and we want to support them and help them earn more this Christmas," said Nasha Douglas, senior brand manager for Red Stripe. In addition to deals, Red Stripe put together customised gift packages for all occasions. Consumers walked away with discounts, gifts, and personal treats.
