A man who the St Catherine North Police have described as a person of interest in the shooting of former Spanish Town Mayor Dr Raymoth Notice is to be questioned by investigators later today.

The man was taken into custody yesterday.

Senior Superintendent Marlon Nesbeth, who heads the St Catherine North Police, said the man “would be questioned around several issues, including that matter”.

When their demands were not met, the men reportedly opened fire, hitting the well-known medical practitioner several times.

Family members indicated last night that he was out of surgery and stable.
