Seprod shared the joy at Emancipation Park
In the true spirit of Christmas, the Seprod group created the Seprod Share the Joy Christmas Photo Cabin at Emancipation Park.
Families and friends received complimentary printed photographs of themselves taken against a beautiful Christmas backdrop. The Cabin, which was open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily between December 16 and 23, had over 5000 persons passing through to take photographs.
"We really wanted an innovative way to thank Jamaica for their support throughout the year. Photographs are captured memories, a keepsake that persons can always cherish and we thought it would be a nice gift for the holidays," said Seprod CEO, Richard Pandohie. "This photo cabin has been an extremely fulfilling experience for both our guests and ourselves. We have had families, bridal parties, groups of friends, individuals, all truly thankful for the opportunity to share the joy." He related how fulfilling it was for some persons.
"We had a mother cry as she received a photo with her two sons as she explained that it was her first photograph in 15 years; and brides and grooms in full wedding attire celebrating their first Christmas as husband and wife," he said. The Seprod Share the Joy Christmas Photo Cabin, the first of its kind at Emancipation Park, also featured selfie stations and gifts for the kids. According to Pandohie, the initiative was part of a larger Share the Joy "give back" social media campaign which saw donations of Seprod products to charities based on responses to the campaign.
