RE/MAX Elite team recently partnered with Food for the Poor to build a house for a family who lost their entire home and belongings due to fire.

The home is located at 13 James Street in the Kingston 13 area. The dwelling is owned by Shavelle Thompson, 22, and she shares it with her brother Adrian Brown and two dependents, ages nine and 12. It was a proud and fulfilling moment for the RE/MAX Elite team, especially when they saw the finished product, followed by the sigh of relief, contentment and sincere gratitude on the faces of the recipients. Team members say they were humbled by the experience.

The RE/MAX Elite team said it hoped more entities will support Food for the Poor's ongoing housing campaign project Changing Lives, Restoring Families.
