Alphie Mullings Allen, president of Junior Achievement Jamaica, recently secured a memorandum of understanding with Garth Walker, CEO of Business Access TV, for the first ‘teen-trepreneur’ competition. Business Access TV has launched its first such competition geared at giving teens the opportunity to create their own TV series primarily focused on business. The series will comprise 13 episodes aimed at educating their age group on a wide range of business topics such as how to get a job, what is debt, building and growing a business, the art of negotiation, and the importance of financial planning, among others. Entry will be opened on January 15 and run until February 28.
