More delinquent candidates turn up to sign Political Code of Conduct

On Wednesday, Parchment Brown released a list showing that only 119 of the 152 nominated candidates had signed the document.

She bashed the delinquent candidates of blatantly disrespecting her office by not signing the code.

Speaking with The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre today, the political ombudsman said some delinquent candidates have since come forward.

Parchment Brown says she will be releasing another update on Monday.

Noting that her office cannot force a candidate to sign, she asserts that the public will judge the action of those, if any, who decline to sign the code.
