Andrew Holness' swearing-in tomorrow, several CARICOM leaders expected to attend
Several CARICOM leaders are expected to attend tomorrow's swearing-in of Andrew Holness as Prime Minister of Jamaica.
Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen, will preside over the ceremony that is scheduled to start at four o'clock tomorrow afternoon at King's House.
The organisers have not revealed any details of the programme or potential overseas guests.
However, a Jamaica Labour Party official has told The Gleaner/Power 106 that leaders from the region have been invited and should be attending.
Holness will take the Oath of Allegiance and the Oath of Office of Prime Minister of Jamaica after which he will receive The Instrument of Appointment to the Office of Prime Minister from the Governor General Sir Patrick Allen.
Holness will then make his inaugural address.
This is the second time that Holness will be sworn-in as Prime Minister having served as Prime Minister from October 23, 2011 to January 5, 2012.
