Jamaica Defence Force soldier Ludane Henry, who was driving this Honda Integra motorcar, died early this morning after crashing into a truck.

Thirty-four-year-old Jamaica Defence Force soldier Ludane Henry died early this morning when his Honda Integra motorcar crashed into a parked garbage truck on the Linstead Bypass in St Catherine.

He is the second soldier to be killed in a motor vehicle crash in two weeks.

The other died on Highway 2000 East West.

It is reported that the garbage truck in which Henry crashed was parked in an un-lit section of the road.

The impact of the crash caused the top of the car to be ripped off and reduced the vehicle to mangled metal.

The crash also resulted in a pileup of traffic for some time.
