Gunmen rob Porus businessman at supermarket, hold family hostage

The Manchester Police are appealing to the public for information in the early morning armed robbery at the Jin Xian Ye Supermarket along Main Street in Porus.

According to the police, about 4 o'clock this morning, three gunmen took the operator of the business place at gun point from his nearby home to the supermarket and robbed him of an undetermined sum of money, a cell phone, cigarettes and phone cards.

The also reportedly displaced the surveillance cameras.

While that was happening, three members of businessman's family were reportedly being held hostage at home by a fourth gunman.

The police suspect that the perpetrators are from the Porus area.
