With immigration and trade being areas of major conflict, Trinidad and Tobago's prime minister is expected to arrive in Jamaica today for a four-day official visit.

Dr Keith Rowley's visit comes amid claims by local business leaders that the existing CARICOM arrangement has become a one-way street that provides greater benefits to their counterpart in the twin-island republic.

It also comes amid increasing complaints that immigration officials in Trinidad & Tobago are unfairly denying Jamaicans entry to that country.

The Jamaica Information Service (JIS) says Rowley will be in Jamaica for political dialogue on matters of mutual interest to both countries, including the CARICOM integration process.

The T&T leader will also hold talks with Opposition Leader Portia Simpson and Jamaican business leaders.
