Loyal Johnson (second right) demonstrates the use of the new six-colour screen-printing machine that was donated to the Alpha Institute by the NCB Foundation. The machine will advance the Institute’s annual screen-printing vocational training programme, which impacts over 25 youths from inner-city communities. Looking on (from left) are Sister Mary Woods, Garfield Palmer – NCB Duke Street branch manager; and Jamoy Williams, another student of the institute. The partnership with the Alpha Institute is a long-standing one as NCB supports Alpha’s commitment to inspiring and training youth through music, innovative vocational training and entrepreneurship since 1880.

Sharing in the moment are institute representatives Winston Radlin (second left), screen-printing instructor, and Dennise McGregor (right), business manager. In the background is Sister Mary Woods, Religious Sister of Mercy.
