In life, he was not one to shy from controversy, and it followed him even in his death.

The legendary Muhammad Yusuf Ali (Cecil Bustamante Campbell), better known as 'Prince Buster', was laid to rest yesterday after the Janazah (Muslim funeral rites) at the Islamic Council of Jamaica in Kingston.

The legend, who died on September 8 in a Miami, Florida, hospital, was laid to rest at the May Pen Cemetery after a brief service.

But just as the pall-bearers were putting the coffin in the hearse, a man who said he was Prince Buster Jr started an argument, claiming that the funeral proceedings was hid from him.

After other relatives held him back and prevented an escalation, the tension eased and the graveside ceremony ended in joy and celebration as everyone sang the words of one of his hits, Hard Man Fi Dead.

Prince Buster, one of the giants of Jamaican music, was remembered by many for his contribution which has made him a star around the world.
