Paramount Jamaica is this year celebrating 25 years of business operations in Jamaica and has recognised Red Stripe as its first customer.

The company has been offering a wide range of products for the manufacturing sector since opening its doors in 1991.

The special presentation was made at Red Stripe's Spanish Town Road office recently when the company was awarded for being the first customer to place an order with Paramount, which currently supplies Red Stripe with chemical raw materials for processing, cooling and water treatment.

According to Paramount Managing Director Hugh Graham, the award is an important recognition of Red Stripe as a company that supports Jamaican businesses such as his.

"We thank Red Stripe for their continued business over the years which has helped to strengthen our operations and investments and, in turn, contribute to employment and national development." Graham added, "Support from Jamaican businesses has helped the company grow exponentially over the years. Our successes such as listing on the Jamaica junior stock exchange in 2012, as well as our consistent growth, is linked to companies like Red Stripe. Their confidence in, and support of, local businesses like ours have helped companies like ours, to develop and succeed".

Meanwhile, the managing director of Red Stripe, Ricardo Nuncio, expressed gratitude for the award.

"It's an honour to receive this award and we are proud to be the first customer of Paramount Jamaica. To survive in business for a quarter of a century speaks to the level of service and commitment and for this we must recognise Paramount. Red Stripe is about Brand Jamaica and is proud to support local businesses that help grow and build the country."
