Digicel Rising Stars 2016 winner Elton Earlington recently toured the Evelyn Peterkin Basic School with its principal, Gloria Carter.

As part of his grand prize, Earlington was presented with $1.5 million from the Digicel Foundation for a community project. A past student of the basic school, he will use the funds to construct a bathroom and sickbay area. His daughter will attend the school come 2017.
