Final RJRGLEANER cross country church service spirit-filled
In a spirit-filled praise and worship service, held at the Good News Open Bible Church in Old Harbour, St Catherine on Sunday, the RJRGLEANER Communications Group marked its final cross country church service under the theme, 'planning for the soul'.
In delivering the message, focusing on St Luke 12 verses 15-33, church Elder Dalkieth Thomas spoke of God's desire for mankind to have a soul plan.
"My focus is on the soul plan. God created man perfect, but because of sin, man changed his direction. God had to restore man, so He instituted the soul plan to help man," Elder Thomas stated.
"So God wants man to acknowledge that life is not about what he possesses or his quality of life. He wants man to be concerned with his relationship to his brothers and sisters. For this to be done, we have to organise ourselves to help those who are in need."
The pastor asserted that the efforts by the RJRGLEANER Communications Group in using the church to thank supporters denoted an adherence to the soul plan.
THANKS FOR SUPPORT
Chief executive officer of the RJRGLEANER Communications Group, Gary Allen, thanked the church for its accommodation, and expressed appreciation to readers, viewers and listeners for their ongoing support over the years.
Allen also lauded the church for its continued outreach to those in need.
"The church is always in the news. We report on it in ways that they don't like, but the good that they do will always prevail," he said.
The series of church services, which started on January 28, was part of the RJRGLEANER Communications Group Cross Country Invasion, to thank readers, viewers and listeners for their continued support.
