'The Power of the Penis' - Local author pens book to encourage persons to control their sexual organs

Following the publication of his previous works, Chat Jamaican, Black America Why and Obama's Drama, Ocho Rios-based writer James 'JJ' Thomas has released his fourth book, one that seems headed for some amount of controversy.
With the title, The Power of the Penis, the book is already drawing enquiries, especially from women, Thomas said.
The book, which contains only 92 pages, is not erotic but seeks to educate persons, he explained.
"Having done my research I've spoken to many people I realise that there is a lot of pain, hurt and confusion out there because the human race has been using the penis and the vagina in a way that they were not meant to be used," Thomas explained.
Chaos and confusion
"Now, because of all of that chaos and confusion and so on, I decided to put pen to paper and see how best I can help people who have been destroying themselves with the sexual organs.
"For example, there is overpopulation, men are getting children they cannot maintain and that is wrong; sexually transmitted diseases, self-inflicted wounds.
"So if we can keep some control of the sexual organs, this world would be a better place. For example, China saw that the organs were out of control, so they put plans in place to curtail that. Today, China is enjoying low birth rate and high economic growth."
"People want enjoyment now, not thinking about the repercussions down the road and I am convinced that if we can help the people who are ignorant about their sexuality, how they should go about using their sexuality to enhance their own quality of life, not only Jamaica would be a better society, but the world."
A note from the author, on the back cover of the book, reads in part: "It is no secret that the Jamaican society is one of openness and acceptance but for too long, women have played into the hands of the wrong men for various reasons known to them at the time of courting, only to be left with an end product unfit to be remembered. Women's biological clocks have not done them justice.
As the clock turns, their hormone burns making them susceptible to copulate with
men who are lacking in the qualities they are searching for."
The book is priced at $800 locally and at US$10 for the international market.
