Four people were shot and killed this morning by gunmen who went on a rampage in the neighbouring communities of Barrett Town and Barrett Hall in St James.

Those killed have been identified as 57-year-old Doreen Brown, her 24-year-old son Wade Weekley and Clayton Daley, all from Barrett Town.

Also reported dead is Nardia Cunningham, who is a 35-year-old bartender of Barrett Hall.

A 15-year-old boy was injured in the gun attack in Barrett Town.

In the first incident that happened about one o'clock in the morning in Barrett Town, the police report that the alleged gunmen opened fire after kicking off the kitchen door to a house where Brown, Weekley, Daley and the 15-year old boy were residing.

Brown managed to escape but was chased and shot dead.

A few hours later, the police were called to a scene in Barrett Hall where Cunningham’s body was found with gunshot wounds inside the bathroom of her home.

Her three children who were at home during the incident were not harmed.
