Digicel says message circulating about its switchboard number is a hoax

Digicel has sought to advise customers not to fall for what it describes as a hoax circulating on WhatsApp and social media.

The telecoms company says a message advising persons not to accept text or calls from its switchboard number 1876-619-5000 is false information.

It is urging customers not to share the message.
