VIDEO: Rescue workers help driver pinned down in Marcus Garvey Drive crash

Rescue workers toiled for several minutes this morning to free a motorist who was trapped in his car following a crash long Marcus Garvey Drive in the vicinity of the Tinson Pen Aerodrome.
The driver who was heading from downtown Kingston was making an illegal u-turn at the stoplight when a vehicle heading from Portmore slammed into his car.
The impact forced the car into the concrete median crumpling a section of it.

This left the driver pinned for several minutes as fire fighters used the jaws of life to free him.
He was rushed to hospital.
The crash resulted in a traffic pile up during the peak hour morning commute.
