The Portland police are to resume the search today for the head of decapitated man.
The headless corpse was discovered in bushes at Fern Hill in the parish, about 6:30 p.m.
The police were alerted by a group of residents who smelled an odour coming from the densely vegetated area.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hornet Williams says the body is of dark complexion, slim build, and measures approximately 6 feet 4 inches.
The body had tattoos all over including an image of barbed wire with the initial GP affixed to one arm.
DSP Williams says the matter is being treated as a murder and the police will be making checks with the various guest houses and hotels to see whether the man could have been a visitor.
