Police impose curfew in Mount Salem, St James

The police have imposed a curfew in Mount Salem, St James.
The police say the curfew began at 6 o'clock this morning and will remain in effect until 6 o'clock on Sunday.
Curfew boundaries:
North: Along Mt. Salem main road from Barnett View Drive to Catherine Drive;
East: Along Catherine Drive from Mount Salem main road to Mount Salem Gully;
South: Along Mount Salem Gully from Catherine Drive to Barnett View Drive;
West: Along Barnett View Drive from Mount Salem Gully to Mount Salem main road.
The police say during the hours of the curfew, all the persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the member of security forces who are in charge of enforcing the curfew.
