Education Minister Ruel Reid says he will be recommending to his colleague, Dr Christopher Tufton to put on hold administering the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, so that more sensitisation can take place.
This comes as Reid says school administrators are disgruntled, as many have complained of not knowing about the logistics of the programme, the benefits and reasons behind the initiative.
He says as minister of education he has a responsibility to represent schools and staff, noting that it is critical that all parties involved are fully informed and that there are no gaps during the administering of the programme.
