To offset cost, the NCB Foundation donated some $250,000 towards the programme and even participated in a panel discussion after the opening ceremony alongside representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other educators. An area at the Shortwood Teacher’s College was transformed into training and display room as teachers and others were invited to the event.
