National Security Minister Robert Montague has suggested that many ordinary Jamaicans engage in acts of corruption in their daily lives.
Speaking at a town-hall meeting in Black River, St Elizabeth, last evening, Montague said Jamaicans typically think of only politicians and the police as corrupt.
However, he’s suggesting the practice is pervasive and runs through every level of society.

Turning to another moral issue, Montague is insisting that parish councils refuse to issue entertainment permits to promoters who have been known to have children at their parties.
An incensed Montague says it’s time for standards to be set in relation to certain practices.
