US agents seize 117 guns, ammo destined for Jamaica

The Jamaica Constabulary Force is reporting a mega bust in the United States (US) of a shipment of guns and ammunition destined for an address in Jamaica.

In a tweet posted a short while ago, the police say the shipment of 117 guns and an assortment of ammunition was intercepted by US customs and ‎border protection agents at the Miami International Airport in November.

The police provided no further detail but said investigations are continuing.

*NOTE: The police have since said 119 weapons were seized, not 117.
