A teenage boy has been arrested and charged in connection with a triple murder in Osbourne Store, Clarendon last month.

The 16 year old has been charged with three counts of murder, robbery with aggravation and illegal possession of firearm.

The Criminal Investigation Branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force says his name is being withheld because he is a minor.

According to investigators, the teen was arrested during an operation last week and pointed out during an identification parade.

Another suspect in the triple murder, identified as Jermaine Bailey, better known as 'Jermi', was reportedly killed in the operation.

Clifton Scott Snr and his two sons, Clifton Jnr and Orville, were shot and killed after gunmen invaded a shop and dwelling house in the community of Osbourne Store on November 12.

It's reported that the gunmen robbed patrons of cash and electronic items before opening fire.

The police say other suspects are being pursued and are appealing to members of the public who have information on the incident to come forward.
