Man killed in Mocho; barber shot and injured in May Pen

Clarendon has recorded another murder.

Forty-one-year-old Devvy Coleman, also called Blacks, of Pusey District in Mocho was shot and killed about 7:30 last night by unknown assailants at his house.

Its reported that Coleman was pounced upon by his attackers as he drove home and exited his car.

He was shot multiple times in the upper body and head.

He ran and collapsed at the back of his house.

He was pronounced dead at hospital.

Earlier in the evening, a barber was shot and injured by a lone gunman on Fernleigh Avenue in May Pen.

Reports are that the gunman entered the barber shop and opened gunfire.

There was a tussle between the injured barber and the gunman.

The attacker escaped on a waiting motorbike.

The police say they recovered a 9 millimetre pistol after searching the area.
